Operation Typhoon is the live open-world update. The Roblox experience page calls out the Kingdom of Sawang and tags the event as a new map, boats, and more. GameLoaded Entertainment posted the release clock for 16 October 2026 in Los Angeles and 17 October 2026 in the UK, Southeast Asia, and Sydney. The experience page shows an update date of 17 October 2026.
What the changelog says you can do
The Operation Typhoon 10.0 notes posted for players describe Sawang this way:
- Liberate the Kingdom of Sawang in support of Crown Princess Bayu.
- The island is a Southeast Asian setting with jungles, rivers, and cities.
- More than 20 quests are set nine months after Zombies.
- Three new enemy factions use new equipment. The excerpt does not print all three names. The Sawang mode page names INSOLON mercenaries and Sawangese militants as the occupiers.
- Enemy patrols move and search for players.
- Pickup trucks, vans, ATVs, and jet skis on the island can be taken.
- Strongpoints can be captured and then have to be held against counterattacks.
The mode page adds the session rules that differ from Ronograd. Secured strongpoints become safehouses you can spawn at. A safehouse has a supplies bar. Spawning spends one unit, and the site is attacked when the bar runs out. Enemies bring vehicles, including helicopters. A large laboratory opens 10 minutes after the last objective is secured. Go in before the outer doors shut. Dying inside sends you back outside the complex.
The in-fiction date on that page is October 2025, nine months after Zombies, after the Sawangese government asked the United Nations International Development Board for help. That is story time, not the real-world release date.
Aircraft and boats named in the notes
| Addition | Role in the notes |
|---|---|
| UH-1N | Medium utility helicopter |
| Model 212 | Medium utility helicopter |
| HR 530F | Light utility helicopter. The notes say it replaces the legacy MH-6 Little Bird |
| HR 530F Skirmisher | Light attack helicopter |
| UH-60V Black Hawk | Door, window, texture, and seating changes, including a FRIES bar and floor seats |
| CH-53D | GAU-21 ramp-turret option and more seats |
| CH-47D | More seats |
| 7-meter RIB | New watercraft |
| RHICC | Rigid Hull Inflatable Commando Craft |
| RHIB 530 | Rigid-hull inflatable boat |
A community operations index says Typhoon added five boats and three helicopters, plus separate hull and engine health, and an armed light helicopter unlocked through Headquarters research. The changelog excerpt itself names three boats and says the HR 530F replaces the old Little Bird. Those two statements can both be partly true if more boats exist than the excerpt listed, or if the armed helicopter is the Skirmisher rather than the retired MH-6. Buy the aircraft the vehicle terminal shows. Do not hunt a store entry that the patch notes already marked as replaced.
Vehicle components now carry separate damage, including hull and engine health in the operations index, and helicopter rotors in the same patch discussion. A damaged rotor is a reason to leave. Use the repair prompt the game shows. Do not assume a specific spawner button unless it is on your screen.
Weapons the notes actually name
- M16A1 assault rifle, new with Typhoon.
- Model 723 assault rifle, listed as a mission reward.
- MP5SD submachine gun, listed as a mission reward.
Release-day comments also mention a Mk 12, a Mk 46, a Mk 48, and a CAR-15 style rifle. Those names are not in the changelog excerpt retrieved for this page, so they are not catalogued here as confirmed unlocks. If a quest reward screen shows one of them, the quest is the source of truth.
The options menu was refreshed, and sensitivity sliders gained number fields. Existing Headquarters research was stated to carry forward. Ronograd remains playable beside Sawang.
How to spend the first Sawang session
- Finish the Ronograd first hour if you still do not have a 4x4, an optic, and medical supplies. Sawang does not replace that kit.
- Deploy to Sawang from the open-world menu, not from a Ronograd private server.
- Open the tactical map and take a quest from whatever mission list that map shows. The 10.0 notes describe more than 20 Sawang quests. Follow the marker the game draws.
- Take a local truck or boat if the road is the long part. Park outside the strongpoint.
- Clear, capture, and stay through the counterattack if the objective says to hold.
- Watch the safehouse supply bar before you use it as a spawn.
- Leave the laboratory for the end of the session, after the final objective, and do not miss the door timer.
On release day, a short Sawang tour said the real-time editor could not be opened for this map and that flying was the way to see it. Treat that as a launch observation. Sandbox still exists for the experience as a whole.
Developer follow-up after release said a content patch was still planned, including a USMC pack, and that the M14 and SV-98 were not part of this drop. Do not wait on those rifles before you build a Sawang kit.
