Ronograd is the original open-world island. You deploy from a friendly Forward Operating Base, drive a road network, and clear enemy compounds. Kingdom of Sawang is a separate open-world mode. This page stays on Ronograd.
How to read the island
Beginner routes treat the south and west as the learning ground and the north and east as the spike. That is a direction, not a promise that every southern building is safe. Red markers are enemy-held. Secure the location, finish its objectives, and clear its enemies before you call the trip done.
Use the 4x4 until you have a reason to crew a larger vehicle. Stop short of the objective. A vehicle left in the courtyard is a vehicle you walk home without.
Places with a known role
| Place | Why it is on the route |
|---|---|
| Forward Operating Base | Spawn, armory, vehicle purchase, Headquarters turn-in |
| Kozlovka | Named both as an early compound and as a construction-truck stop |
| Depot | Truck spawn and the area players use when they say vehicle depot |
| Quarry | Industrial ground with elevation and long sightlines |
| Department of Utilities | Industrial compound and a truck source |
| Ronograd City | Urban blocks and streets. Clear from outside before you enter |
| Fort Ronograd | Fortified objective. Scout the gate before you drive in |
| Naval Base | High-intensity compound and a major truck source |
Pushkino is a compound players use to practice a quiet clear. A current raid video shows a loadout, an approach, and a room-by-room clear rather than a drive-through.
Supply trucks
Ronograd spawns supply vehicles at enemy compounds. Drive one back to the FOB and the vehicle's resources are turned in, along with a cash reward. Some trucks sit behind a garage until the compound is secured.
The documented types are construction, equipment, fuel, and precious-metals trucks. Named spawn areas include the Department of Utilities, Fort Ronograd, the Depot, Kozlovka, Ronograd City, the Naval Base, and the Quarry. Release 9.8.0 changed this loop: high-value trucks lock until the compound is secured, the old random yield was removed, and the cash paid for the delivery was cut hard. Operation Typhoon did not, in the changelog excerpt available here, republish those yields. Turn in the truck you can see. Do not budget from a pre-9.8.0 payout.
The two numbers printed beside each truck type in older tables are not labeled clearly enough to repeat as construction-versus-cash. If the in-game prompt shows a yield, trust that prompt.
Landmines and tunnels
Player routes around Fort Ronograd warn about mines on the city bridge and inside the Ronograd City tunnel. Those warnings come from raid notes, not from an official mine map. If a bridge or tunnel is part of your drive, stay on the driven line other players are using, or go around. Do not test a shortcut with the only vehicle you own.
When to change maps
Stay on Ronograd until healing, reloads, and the 4x4 feel ordinary. Sawang adds patrols that hunt you, strongpoints you have to hold, and boats. The Sawang guide covers that deployment. Zombies is a third ruleset and does not teach Ronograd compound clears.
